Drivers With Bad Insurance Records

These days, your background and history is often more important than your plans for the future - at least as far as insurance companies are concerned. What I’m saying is, if you have a bad track record of car insurance claims, or traffic infringement notices such as speeding tickets, you are far less likely to get a cost efficient car insurance policy issued in your name. If you are aware that a few demons may be haunting you from the past - here are a few tips to get the car insurance policy you want, without having to beg and plead.

Firstly, consider switching insurance companies. Yes - car insurance companies can and do share information about their clients, but the chances are that a different company will welcome your business even if you have a rough history. Secondly, if this doesn’t work - consider changing you vehicle registration in to the name of your company (if you have one), and then seek commercial insurance. There are many advantages of commercial insurance, and whilst this seems like a fairly sneaky thing to do, it is perfectly legal.
